In early August 2026,X account of Pepe the Frog creator Matt Furie posted contract addresses and supportive content for multiple memecoins (including HOODRAT, DORK, and BOYZ), followed by deletions and a claim that the account had been hacked. On-chain activity around the launches showed rapid market-cap spikes and bundling by the deployers.
